Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabrics and some beads and yarn. Technique is called mola, which is a hand reverse appliqué technique where several layers of fabric sewn together; the design is then formed by cutting away parts of each layer.

Artist Statement: The butterfly is a symbol of rebirth. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to reverse Alzheimer’s as well as prevent it?

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
