Materials/Techniques: The quilt was made of all cotton materials. I added some sparkle with faceted green glass beads.

Artist Statement: I was making a border for a quilt which didn't work. I cleaned the sewing room months later. As I was wadding things up the border just fell side by side and I saw stars!
