Artist Statement: Why I made this quilt?
Alzheimer’s has touched our family. We lost someone very precious to us…to me. Her family name was Grandma Anne. To me, she was my mother-in-law and so very special. I hope this will help aide in the fight, so that others don’t lose their special someone to Alzheimer’s.

Dedication: This quilt is dedicated to Grandma Anne. She loved pretty things; small glass bowls with detailed designs, a delicate porcelain sculpture, angels, her Christmas pins, and her candies made out of glass. She wouldn’t wear a lot of jewelry, but she appreciated those that would sparkle. Fancy glass bowls made it home with her many times after a trip to the antique store with her daughters. She would rotate them around on a display cabinet and keep them well dusted and she would tell you her story for each and every one. I miss her very much.
This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
This quilt earned $110 for the AAQI.
