Designer: Original designMaterials/Techniques: This quilt contains half-square triangles from the SoTTT’s exchange on thequiltshow.com. We swapped about a quarter of a million hsts with quilters from all over the world. I sewed them into a strip and placed a large piece of hand dyed fabric. There is a meandering design with tiny hsts and loops over the strip and on the larger piece, well let’s just say I just had some fun with it.
Artist Statement: Why I made this quilt?
Alzheimer’s has touched our family. We lost someone very precious to us… to me. Her family name was Grandma Anne. To me, she was my mother-in-law and so very special. I hope this will help aide in the fight, so that others don’t lose their special someone to Alzheimer’s.

Dedication: This quilt is dedicated to Grandma Anne. In the kitchen over the sink there was a small shelf. She put a few very special things there such as a picture of the family, a small ring holder for when she did dishes, a few silly characters that she would play with, a little alien toy, a small drawing I did for her of the squirrel feeder that James, her husband made. I caught her many times taking a glimpse of what was on that shelf and smiling. It seemed as though everything that was important was represented on there. I miss her very much.
This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
