Materials/Techniques: Made from batiks in a 3/8” grid (and with more inset seams than I like to do at one time) and quilted with clear thread.

Artist Statement: When I started the quilt it was supposed to be an optical illusion thing with pieced blocks inserted. As it developed, it reminded me that all sorts of boxes and trays sit around holding blocks I have tried and set aside. Maybe this represents those block boxes.
