Materials/Techniques: Cotton and batik fabrics, polyfil batting, vintage buttons, binding turned to the front, machine pieced, machine quilted, hand quilted.

Artist Statement: I made a larger quilt using this pattern of my own design and decided to make one with blocks an inch smaller for AAQI. I also provided a tutorial for other quilters for this block. It was also a way to use up some vintage buttons from a large collection. I love it in the smaller size and hope that it brings joy to whoever sees it while at the same time raising funds to help find a cure.
