Artist Statement: While I was sorting, I uncovered this piece of embroidery and I thought it would make a lovely small art quilt. Purple is such a royal color.

Dedication: I was touched by Lisa Genova's book "Still Alice". There are so many suffering from this disease or losing family/friends from this terrible disease. Let's help those suffering with Alzheimer's to follow whatever patch they have chosen each day so that each day is meaningful.
