Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton fabric, cotton batting and cotton thread.

Artist Statement: I created this mini quilt using sunflower-themed quilting fabric and a coordinating blender fabric. The colors include autumn shades of brown, tan, maroon and cream.

Dedication: I made this quilt in loving memory of both my great-grandmother ("Mammaw") and my grandmother ("Granny"), both of whom developed Alzheimer’s in their later years. I treasure the memories of both of them, especially the memories of them patiently teaching me how to sew and quilt.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
