Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton fabric, cotton batting, cotton thread, poly thread, green fibers.

Artist Statement: This mini quilt started out as a fun pirate/oceanic print. I added some green "seaweed" made of assorted green fibers and quilted it in a wavy design to give the appearance of waves. The binding has little white anchors.

Dedication: I made this quilt in loving memory of both my great-grandmother ("Mammaw") and my grandmother ("Granny"), both of whom developed Alzheimer’s in their later years. I treasure the memories of both of them, especially the memories of them patiently teaching me how to sew and quilt.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
