Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton fabric, cotton batting, cotton thread, pink fibers.

Artist Statement: A patchwork heart balloon floating in a starry sky. The balloon is accented with an assortment of fancy pink fibers. The stars are metallic gold.

Dedication: I made this quilt in loving memory of both my great-grandmother ("Mammaw") and my grandmother ("Granny"), both of whom developed Alzheimer’s in their later years. I treasure the memories of both of them, especially the memories of them patiently teaching me how to sew and quilt.

This quilt has a Soda Pull-Tab.
