Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton fabric, felt batting, 100% cotton thread.

Artist Statement: My great-grandmother, whom I called "Mammaw", taught me to sew when I was a young girl. She would sit beside me at her sewing machine, a Singer 15-91, carefully supervising my progress. The embroidered sewing machine on my mini quilt reminds me of that old Singer, and of the fun times Mammaw and I shared.

Dedication: I made this quilt in loving memory of both my great-grandmother ("Mammaw") and my grandmother ("Granny"), both of whom developed Alzheimer’s in their later years. I treasure the memories of both of them, especially the memories of them patiently teaching me how to sew and quilt.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
