Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton fabric, felt batting, 100% cotton thread.

Artist Statement: This little quilt was extra-fun to create! It features yummy chocolate candies on a pink background, and in the center I used selvedges to create the appearance of candy dots. Both my grandmother and my great-grandmother used to hide little chocolate treats for me to find (as long as I behaved, of course! ha ha), so this quilt has some fun memories.

Dedication: I made this quilt in loving memory of both my great-grandmother ("Mammaw") and my grandmother ("Granny"), both of whom developed Alzheimer’s in their later years. I treasure the memories of both of them, especially the memories of them patiently teaching me how to sew and quilt.

This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles.
