Materials/Techniques: The background is cotton, the front is a washable, glittery beige satin. Hat, boot and guitar are overlaid appliqué designs from a sheer fabric that had ultra-mini rhinestones - perfect. Guitar strings are couched, using regular sewing thread.

Artist Statement: Upon hearing of country singer Glen Campbell's diagnosis of Alzheimer's, I felt I needed to do something to honor him. I chose to design this mini quilt from his song "The Rhinestone Cowboy". I know that there are many prayers going out for Glen and his family as they face this disease. Thank you Mr. Campbell, for all the wonderful music you have shared with us over the years.
