Materials/Techniques: All cotton fabrics with the black background fabric showing a muted design. The backing fabric has tiny roses, which I felt carried the subject from front to back very well.

Artist Statement: At one time I did scratch art on black aluminum, which eventually led to microscopic pieces of metal showing up in my lungs, so now I am trying to accomplish the same style of art with thread. This is an original design from over 20 years ago, I hope you enjoy.
