Cotton muslin; free motion thread play, crayon.Artist's Statement:
This quilt was playing around with free motion quilting. The square has been waiting for a reason to complete, and what better reason than to raise funds for Alzheimer’s?
This square is one of two that are dedicated to Oma, my mother-in-law, Adrie Zwaal who had Alzheimer’s. Her love of the mountains and travel carried through to her children and I am lucky enough to be able to spend time traveling through the mountains with my partner, her son.
This quilt earned $45 for Alzheimer's research.
