Artist's Statement: The idiom “That will happen when pigs fly” has been changed to reflect the miracle of hope that science is bringing. A letter explaining my view accompanies this quiltlet. It can be found at the back bottom.
Dedication: For Mathilda Candidace, my late mother-in-law. Her final days were filled with love playing with her granddaughter (my daughter), at home.
