Artist's Statement: The ocean is healing. There is nothing like a trip to the sea –shell collecting or holding a shell to the ear; the sound of the surf; the gulls; and the balmy breezes, are all part of the experience. It was my hope to share the healing properties of the ocean we have here on the Outer Banks.
