808 - Daisies for Mum

Materials/Techniques: 100% cotton; buttonhole appliqué.
Artist's Statement: I fondly recall as a child picking wild daisies, putting a slit in the stem and joining them up to make necklaces. So the vase of daisies seemed so appropriate to make for this wonderful cause. Every dollar counts in research and I am thankful for this opportunity to help a little and encourage others to do so.
Dedication: For my dear Mum, who taught me to sew and to make daisy chains.
This quilt has a plain back.
The quilt earned $175.00 for Alzheimer's research.
