My sister came up with the idea for this quilt. Before my mother, Dorothy Radigan, moved to Nursing Center, she often played checkers with us, kids. She was pretty good at it. The great grandchildren were good sports and often let her win when they saw her having difficulty.
For my mom, Dorothy Radigan, age 87, who suffers from Alzheimer’s and still does her best to play games even though she barely has the strength to lift her arms.
This quilt is displayed with Fast Finish Triangles
This quilt earned $45 for Alzheimer's research.
