Designer: I designed and we made this a number of years ago in wood with the painted details and with a box attached behind it to hold the bills as they came in the mail.
Artist’s Statement: Since I am not able to work with wood easily now and certainly prefer cloth, I drew up a cloth version. The pocket between the buildings and the sky will hold anything you want, but it really is the bill’s place.
This quilt is displayed with a traditional sleeve.
