Artist's Statement: Prairie Rose Henderson was a skilled rodeo competitor in the early 20th century. She was one of the first cowgirl fashion trendsetters and created her own flamboyant costumes from buckskin, feathers and sequins. I wish all women felt this free to express their true selves. This is a reminder to be who you are, no matter what others may think.
Beth WhitleyDedication: For all the women who have forgotten who they are.
