Materials/Techniques: The ground covering is the dog ears cut from triangles and colored to cover the white, the mountain is a photo transfer, trees are fused on, tree trunks have some thread painting, and leaves quilted with gold metallic thread.
Artist's Statement: This was a challenge. The rules were: It had to be finished in one week, use fall colors, have an element of depth, and add at least one 3D object. My 3D object was a twig from the yard to make the small bare tree to the left of the large tree.
