Materials/Techniques: Antique handkerchiefs, sequins, beads; ribbon embroidery, appliqué.
Artist's Statement: This piece is a simplified version of Cindy Brick's Hanky Panky. I used layered antique handkerchiefs and embellishments to create a soft, somewhat unfocused look.
Dedication: Mother is beginning to have memory problems. When she struggles to remember words or has to admit being unable to recall old friends and relatives, I see myself in 30 years and am dismayed.
This quilt is displayed with Fast Finish Triangles.
