Designer: This is a handmade mola from Panama. It was hand appliqued and hand embroidered there by an unknown artisan.

Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric and batting; hand applique, hand embroidery, machine quilting.

Artist's Statement: We are now realizing that some of the plants from places like the Amazon contain possible cures for all kinds of diseases... maybe Alzheimer's will be one of them.
