Artist's Statement: The colors, familiar and comforting, remind me of the square cloth my grandmother kept on her kitchen table, the dishtowels that hung beside my grandfather’s sink, and the ‘little dresses with aprons’ clothespin bags my mother made. These scraps of fabric and my memories honor their lives.
