Artist's Statement: Play on words. I've used pieces from my mother in law's scrap bag (an old hanky, embroidered flowers from a blouse) to illustrate an expression of hers. Long before she was diagnosed, we had that uneasy feeling that something was just not quite right with her. I think she felt that too.
