Materials/Techniques: Eighty-eight one inch samples of fabric from 1930 through at least 1960. Gold lame binding.
Artist's Statement:These fabrics are leftover scraps of clothing my mother made for her family and herself over the years. I have printed a short explanation about them on the backing of the quilt plus 28 more pieces fused on around the narrative.
Dedication: Mother's sister was an Alzheimer's patient for many years and Mother's life was marred by dementia for a short period before her death.
This quilt is displayed with Fast Finish Triangles.
