Materials/Techniques: Cotton; Machine pieced, machine quilted in the ditch, hand quilted hearts in the center of the stars.
Artist's Statement: On the saddest night of my life (I had to go the next day to help clear out my mother's apartment because she had been admitted to a nursing home) I was checking Big Horn Quilt's web site to see if I was a winner in her contest. I saw this wall hanging and it hit me like a ton of bricks. Pat Morris had made it in honor of her mother who had Alzheimer’s. This is a miniaturized version of it.
