Montague MI USAWidth: 8"
Length: 9.5"
Materials/Techniques: Photo imagry on fabric, net, embellishmented with beads
Artist's Statement: Sometimes we have to rip through 'brain fog' to reach back to our memories. I scanned a photo of the water of Kitch-iti-kippi Springs for the center of the quilt, and layered net over top, cutting a ragged hole in the center. Normal 'bran fog' gives us a small insight into memory loss.
Nancy A. BekofskeDedication: My husband's grandmother suffered from dementia the last ten years of her life.
This quilt has a
plain back.
This quilt earned $40.00 for Alzheimer's research.
