Materials/Techniques: Cotton fabric. Stripped pieced curves and drafted points. Machine pieced and quilted.
Artist's Statement: This was a fun project to use some techniques that I recently learned, and an excuse to raid my sons stash of batiks!

Dedication: I made this quilt because my father never even knew that I got married and had 3 sons, one of whom looks just like him (Dad died when my son was 2 years old), and because I will never forget looking into my mothers eyes and knowing that she didn't know me.

This quilt earned $60 for Alzheimer's research!
