Materials/Techniques: One of my mother's hand dye-stamped and painted rhinos is framed and quilted. Cotton fabric; applied binding.
Artist's Statement: Mom spent many years dye-stamping animals and birds with stamps she made out of Styrofoam. Her Alzheimer's has progressed to the point where she can no longer remember how to do it any more.
